VENTUM-S is offering workshops in Dresden

Anyone who uses a tool should know what it’s good for and how it works.
The best way to learn about a tool is to work with it – that is exactly what we want to do with you as part of oor workshops.
In 2024 the Ventum-S workshops will take place on 12 September and 14 November 2024 in Dresden

Why workshop?

Only here is the opportunity to learn about our products while working together in direct communication and to “understand” the products in the best possible way.
Feel free to come with your ideas, projects and questions and find out whether the VENTUM-S products are right for you.

What is the idea of a workshop?

The aim of the workshop is to give you a deep insight into the properties and possibilities of our products.
Among other things, the following questions are answered:

  • What can I do with it?
  • How fast does it go?
  • Does the product match my existing processes and procedures?

Every participant is able to form a well-founded opinion about our products.

What is the content of the workshop?

In the workshop we work on the following subjects:

We carry out the construction of a turntable with drive and control, create a large stage design, built from system material and answer all your questions.

Who is the workshop suitable for?

Basically, the workshop is suitable for everyone who is interested in our products and who is thinking about working with our products in the future.
First and foremost, the workshops are for everyone who works in any way on, for or with the stage, regardless of whether they are in the theater or event technology sector.

We are also happy to convince all set designers, technical managers and directors, stage masters, artistic directors, planners, and all those who manage financial resources of the advantages of our products.
In addition, we are always particularly happy when students, for example from the Beuth University or trainees from the stage area, come to us.

What do I need for the workshop?

You absolutely need the following things:

  • Good mood
  • Curiosity
  • The urge to create (you have to work properly in the workshop)
  • Appropriate leisure work clothes (you will definitely get dirty 🙂)

How does a workshop work?

The workshops usually take place in the last week of the month, on Thursdays

DAY 1:

Arrival is on Wednesday (we will be happy to reserve a hotel room for you)
On Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. there will be a first meeting in the hotel lobby. Here we are happy to give you tips on how to spend the evening pleasantly in our beautiful Dresden and of course you can ask technical questions.

DAY 2:
The actual workshop starts at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
As part of the workshop, we will work with you to set up a turntable with drive and control, create larger stage design from system material and jointly explore the capabilities of the Mecanum stage wagon.
The workshop lasts 2-2.5 hours and includes a small snack with refreshments and coffee.
Following the workshop, there will be a discussion and question-and-answer session and later on we will have lunch together.  If the weather is good we will have a barbecue together.
The event ends around 2 p.m.
If you want to stay longer, you will definitely find nice and exciting destinations in Dresden. We would be happy to help you with our local knowledge.

When will the workshops take place?

The 2024 workshops will take place on September 12 and November 14, 2024.
Other dates by arrangement.

What does the workshop cost?

The workshop itself including a small breakfast and lunch is free of charge. The expenses for travel and, the overnight stay and other costs are at the expense of the workshop participant.

Do I get a certificate of attendance?

After successfully participating in the workshop, you will receive a certificate.

How many participants can take part at the workshop?

Since everyone should have the chance to help build, understand and learn, the number of participants is limited to a maximum of 15 people per workshop.
Do you want to travel with a large team of more than 15 people? No problem, we simply run 2 workshops (10 a.m. and 3 p.m.) or we run the second workshop the next day.
